Our Story
NetWings began with a belief that young people learn differently when the world becomes part of the classroom.
Founded in 2015, NetWings was created to give students meaningful opportunities to explore global issues through mentorship, research, travel, and direct engagement with people and communities beyond their own. What started with international conference experiences grew into a learning model designed to help young people ask better questions, examine complex issues from multiple perspectives, and turn firsthand experiences into thoughtful research and dialogue.
Over the years, NetWings Delegates have participated in global conferences, conducted fieldwork with organizations and institutions abroad, collaborated with mentors, and developed original Case Studies rooted in what they learned firsthand.
Today, NetWings continues to build programs that connect learning with real life—from JetSet, our global learning and cultural exchange program, to Kin & Field, our growing initiative bringing families together around food, place, and sustainability.
At its core, NetWings is about helping the next generation engage more thoughtfully with the world—and see themselves as part of it.
